Carson City detectives working Douglas shooting

Carson City investigators are examining evidence from a fatal officer-involved shooting that took place in Douglas County last week.“We’ve had officers there all day looking at it,” Sheriff Ken Furlong said on Monday.Douglas County released the names of the six deputies involved in the shooting of Gardnerville Ranchos resident Mark Perkins, 48, who was pronounced dead at the scene after a confrontation on Thursday.Members of the Douglas County Special Weapons and Tactics Team responded to
