76-year-old inmate convicted of sexual assault, dies

LAS VEGAS — Nevada prison officials say a 76-year-old inmate convicted of sexual assault and lewdness with a minor has died. The Nevada Department of Corrections said Robert Dickeson died Saturday at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center’s medical facility in Carson City. Dickeson had been in prison since July 20, 1992, and was serving a sentence of life with the possibility of parole for sexual assault. Authorities say the Carson City Sheriff’s Office coroner would conduct an autopsy.&
