Tennessee not on board with expanding passenger train service

A passenger train advocate last week urged the agency controlling Central Station to consider the future growth of Tennessee and Arkansas's passenger traffic in redeveloping the historic building for other uses. But state transportation officials told The Commercial Appeal that re-establishing or expanding passenger systems is too expensive to carry out in the foreseeable future.
