State Senate Snubs Renata Soto

Sen. Jeff Yarbro tried to shame Republicans into voting to congratulate Nashville civic leader Renata Soto for her appointment to lead La Raza. But by a bizarre 9-6 vote with 12 senators abstaining and five refusing to vote at all, the resolution failed today.
