Shots fired on U.S. Marshals chasing Kentucky police shooter

Someone in a getaway car fired on U.S. Marshals Wednesday night in a manhunt for a fugitive accused of shooting at police in Tennessee and Kentucky, officials said. The shots rang out around 8 p.m. at a gas station north of Nashville, Tenn., during authorities' fifth day searching for convicted robber and rapist Floyd Ray Cook, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
