Mt. Pleasant Vice Mayor George Vestal passes away

A veteran of the United States Army, Vestal played trombone in the 101st Air Bourne Division Band between 1964 and 1966. Vestal was employed by the State of Tennessee between 1973 and 1977 serving as the director of pre-release at a juvenile correctional facility in Nashville.
