Local Cider Company Gets Back to the Roots
With the explosive growth of Middle Tennessee breweries over the past few years, it's always surprised me that we haven't seen the birth of a craft cidery in town yet. Ciders are all the rage in Virginia and North Carolina, and if they can grow cider apples in the hills of those states, I figured somebody could grow some good "spitters," as they are colloquially known, at least in the foothills of the Appalachians in East Tennessee.
