NASHVILLE Jamal Shakir, 42, of Los Angeles, pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court in Nashville to conspiracy and attempting to conduct a continuing criminal enterprise and was sentenced to 20 years in prison, according to David Rivera, U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.
