After a very wet morning, midday conditions will be drier with spotty showers, partly cloudy skies, and breezy conditions. By late afternoon, scattered strong-to-severe storms develop and continue through midnight. Chief concerns are for damaging thunderstorm winds, hail, and frequent lightning. A tornado warning cannot be ruled out.
