Sierra gets snow, but not as much as expected

The Sierra got its biggest snowfall of the new year overnight, but it still wasn't quite as much as some skiers and snowboarders would have liked. Caltrans is expecting a lot of travelers in the sierra throughout the weekend. The roads are fairly clear of snow, but ice could be an issue, officials said.
