Probation Search Uncovers Criminal Activity, Cause For Concern

A man on searchable probation for impersonating a peace officer faces felony charges after law officials found him in possession of ammunition and body armor. During a compliance search conducted Wednesday morning sometime after ten o'clock hour in the 1100 block of John Eaph Trail in West Point, Daniel Ray Calderon, 27, listed as a Modesto resident, was arrested for felony violation of probation; failure to register as a sex offender; and for possessing a billy club and ammunition.
