Mother Lode Roundup Queen follows in mentor's footsteps

Rachelle Snitchler was inspired to enter rodeo queen competitions by her role model, Catherine Gulizia, the 2011 Mother Lode Roundup Queen. "She taught me perseverance and to not be discouraged if and when I don't win," Snitchler said of Gulizia, whom she met as a fellow member of the Calaveras Wranglers 4-H Horse Club.
