Marijuana banking a conundrum ahead of Jan. 1
In less than two weeks, anyone over the age of 21 will be able to buy recreational-use marijuana legally in California. The legalization of the cannabis industry creates a cash conundrum as California businesses try to figure out how to operate in a cash-only world -- without the use of bank accounts, credit cards, checks and payroll.
