Gilbert: The wall that heals

The Vietnam Moving Wall returns to Stockton on Thursday, bringing with it an opportunity to remember, and honor, those who were sacrificed in that war. Maes, 69, was drafted at age 18 out of Franklin High School, sent to Vietnam at 19, and his first day there in April 1968, transported by helicopter to join the Army's A Company, First battalion, 27th infantry.
