Five Vehicles Involved In Calaveras DUI Crash: Ripon Man Arrested

A Ripon man was arrested for allegedly causing a five-vehicle wreck on Highway 4 near Hunt Road in Calaveras County. The CHP reports that 47-year-old David Michael Barnett was driving a 2002 Ford truck, pulling a boat trailer, and he drifted into the opposing lane of Highway 4. He hit two oncoming Harley Davidson motorcycles, resulting in four major injuries.
