Expanding Your Horizons: Where imagination meets execution

Louise Stark had just been hired as the first female professor in University of the Pacific's School of Engineering when she played a key role in bringing the Expanding Your Horizons career conference to the university in 1992. Stark retired last year, but she was back on campus Saturday afternoon to see about 400 girls attend a conference designed to help girls recognize their potential and encourage them to pursue opportunities in science and mathematics.
