TS Arthur Forms, Heavy Rain Expected in MS

Tropical Storm Arthur formed off the Texas coast this morning and is expected to come ashore in southwestern Louisiana tonight with the remnants moving toward Mississippi on Thursday with the threat of heavy rain and severe storms.
A flood watch continues for portions of the local area including Leake and Neshoba counties.
There’s also a marginal risk of isolated severe storms across the entire state tomorrow and for most of Mississippi again on Friday.
