Rain, Storms Expected Locally Today, Tornadoes Possible

The potential for heavy rain and damaging winds returns to this part of central Mississippi today and tornadoes aren’t being ruled out.   The National Weather Service has posted a Level-2 “slight” risk of severe storms for the entire local area through this evening.  Rainfall amounts could range from one to three inches with the heaviest accumulations forecast for the northern part of the area including northern Holmes, Carroll, Montgomery and Choctaw counties.&n
