More Storms Expected Locally Today

After severe weather rolled across Mississippi on the Fourth of July, more storms are already popping up this morning with most of the state under a Level-1 “marginal” risk of damaging winds.   Heat stress will continue to be another weather concern, although the only heat advisory today is for the northwestern corner of Mississippi.   Elsewhere,  heat index values approaching 105 degrees are possible across parts of the local area, including Attala, Holmes,
