Hurricane expected to hit Coast this weekend, forecasters say

Tropical Storm Isaias, which is expected to develop into the first Atlantic hurricane of the season by Thursday, may be on a path to hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast Friday evening, according to Wednesday projections from the National Weather Service.“While most severe impacts will remain concentrated along the Coast, heavy rain, flooding and gusty winds will be possible further inland across the forecast area,” NWS Jackson posted on its Facebook page Wednesday morning. “Please
