Heat Relief Delayed, Advisory Posted for Friday

After a day off from the worst of the heat stress, the entire local area will be back under a heat advisory Friday.  The heat index is forecast to climb as high as 106 in Kosciusko and Durant, even though actual temperatures may not exceed the lower 90s.  Also, we’ll see a good chance of rain and thunderstorms Friday and that could help to take the edge off the heat stress.
