Heat Continues Today, Should Be Better Friday

Most of us aren’t under a heat advisory today even though it’ll feel like the triple digits in many areas this afternoon.  There is an advisory until 7 pm for Leake and Holmes counties where the heat index could reach 108.  We could finally see some relief from the heat wave Friday as rain chances increase with temperatures forecast to fall into the upper 80s during the afternoon.
