Dangerous heat stress is spreading east today and the National Weather Service has now posted a heat advisory covering the entire state which will be in effect through Friday .  Heat index readings could climb as high as 110  degrees in some areas but they’ll probably be a little lower around here—106 is forecast in Durant today.
