Heat Advisory Expanded Areawide

The National Weather Service says a heat advisory which covered western Mississippi Sunday is now in effect for most of the state including all of the local area.    Highs in the upper 90s are forecast today with the heat index possibly reaching 108 in Durant, 107 in Carthage and 106 in Kosciusko and Philadelphia.  Another heat advisory may be needed for Tuesday for parts of Mississippi but as drier air starts to move in from the e
