UW-Milwaukee prepares for rare form of meningitis

Starting Thursday, students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison can receive a free vaccine to fight meningococcal disease serogroup B. The students are going to be OK and are now recovering, but the disease can be fatal. Most people have the regular vaccine for four other types of meningitis, but many parents don't even know about the vaccine for type B.
