My daughter deserves arrest over missing girl, grandma says

Homestead police arrested a distraught mother in Homestead, after law enforcement focused for hours on finding her 5-year-old daughter Tuesday.

Geneva Pearson told police she realized her daughter Geneya was not in the house about 9:30 a.m. The mom was unaware that her little girl wandered out of the home alone to get to the daycare's bus, when she heard the horn Tuesday morning, police said.
