Cab passengers shot in Miami Beach

Miami Beach police are investigating after two people were shot while riding in a cab early Monday morning. The shooting was reported just after 3 a.m. in the area of Pine Tree Drive and West 40th Street, according to Ernesto Rodriguez of Miami Beach police. The cab driver told investigators four men in a red BMW convertible shot at his car several times and took off. One of the passengers was shot in the head; the other was grazed by a bullet.
