Authorities search for possible drowning victim in Hallandale Beach

Boaters reported there was a man at sea who needed to be rescued in Hallandale Beach Monday morning.

Authorities were searching for the possible drowning victim in the area where Hallandale Beach meets the ocean, Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue reported.

The search was ongoing about 12:10 p.m. The Coast Guard was notified.
