4 accused of scamming Medicaid out of more than $196,000

Four Miami-Dade County residents were arrested Wednesday, accused of scamming Medicaid out of more than $196,000.

Luz Alvelo, 40, Maria Fernanda-Flores, 24, Manuel Otero, 42, and Yaniel Leal, 36, face charges of conspiracy to commit Medicaid fraud, grand theft and organized fraud.
