2 in custody after fatal shooting in North Miami Beach

Two people have been taken into custody after a fatal shooting in North Miami Beach.

The shooting occurred Monday two blocks north of the Walmart on Northeast 163rd Street.

Sky 10 was over the scene as a yellow tarp covered a body on a sidewalk.

Local 10 News crime specialist John Turchin reported that the victim was 17 years old. Turchin said the victim was walking along the sidewalk when he was ambushed by three others.

A motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
