1 dead after shooting at northwest Miami-Dade gas station

Miami-Dade police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead early Wednesday morning.The shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. at the Valero gas station near Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 12th Avenue. Police said two men were sitting at the gas station and were approached by a gunman, who opened fire and then ran away.They said the victim who died was in his 40s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The second victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Cent
