Jackson man sentenced for production, possession of child porn following 2017 drug bust

A former Jackson business owner has been sentenced and a forfeiture order has been filed following his 2017 arrest on child pornography charges during what was initially a drug bust. 58-year-old Michael Gene Rushing was sentenced Thursday to 210 months to serve followed by a lifetime of supervised release for producing child pornography and possession of child pornography.
