Son of Red Sox announcer joins WCVB as weekend co-anchor

WCVB Channel 5 has hired a new weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter, with Duke Castiglione beginning in the role in January.
The son of long-time Boston Red Sox announcer Joe Castiglione, Duke Castiglione will co-anchor with Nicole Berlie, and will report during the week.Castiglione joins WCVB from WNYW Fox 5 in New York, where he was a sports anchor as well as host of the Sunday night program “Sports Extra.” In that role, he covered numerous Super Bowls, World Seri
