Rehab of Mt. Washington church to move forward with CHAP decision

The city's historical preservation panel voted to allow the removal of stone crosses from a historic Mount Washington church during a contentious hearing Tuesday, overturning its original ruling that the crosses had to stay in place.David Warschawski purchased the former St. John's Episcopal Church at 1700 South Road with plans to rehabilitate the structure and use it as a new headquarters for his advertising agency, Warschawski, which is currently located nearby on Sulgrave Avenue. He requested
