Calico Industries bought by Mississippi firm to avoid shutdown

Calico Industries Inc., a 94-year-old Annapolis Junction-based restaurant equipment and janitorial supplies distributor, has been acquired by a Mississippi investment firm.Calico hired Easton-based investment bank Equity Partners HG in November to facilitate a deal.
