Lubbock man sentenced to two years for prostitution

A 42-year-old man was handed Thursday morning a two-year sentence after he admitted to pimping at least two women in Lubbock last year. James Lamont Brown, who has been held at the Lubbock County Detention Center since his April 19, 2016, arrest, pleaded guilty to a third-degree felony count aggravated promotion of prostitution.
