Louisiana State Police investigating deadly shooting by Lafayette officer

LAFAYETTE - Louisiana State Police have been called to investigate after a Lafayette police officer shot and killed a person early Saturday morning.According to Louisiana State Police, the shooting occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Sybil Drive with one person pronounced dead on the scene.
