Deputies search for suspect involved in robbing a daiquiri shop

LIVINGSTON PARISH - Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a daiquiri shop Wednesday afternoon.Around 3:30 p.m. the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, received a call about a man robbing a daiquiri shop on Hwy 16 at gunpoint.Sheriff Jason Ard said, ‘We know the suspect demanded cash while pointing a handgun at the employee."The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall male.
