The Great LA River CleanUp hits Long Beach area Saturday

The nation's largest urban river cleanup is coming to the Long Beach area Saturday, when volunteers will help remove piles of trash and debris along the lower Los Angeles River basin. The 28th annual Great LA River CleanUp runs from 9 a.m. to noon at four sites in Compton and Long Beach: Golden Shore Marine Reserve, Compton Creek at Artesia Metro Station, Compton Creek at Del Amo Metro Station and Willow Street Estuary.
