"My grandmother used to sell Cambodian noodle soup in front of her house," recalled Long Beach Cambodian-American chef Chad Phuong, who will host an event Saturday to benefit the YMCA. Phuong's culinary passion started at a young age, helping his grandparents with food preparation in his hometown of Battambong, Cambodia.
