How to help send Long Beach area kids to camp this summer

Maggie, a fifth-grader at a Long Beach elementary school, said she was "really nervous" when she went to her first summer camp in the mountains last year. But, after a week at the YMCA's Camp Oakes in the San Bernardino Mountains, Maggie told a Y counselor, "I'm not nervous anymore now because I've made friends, and I had so much fun."
