Half-naked man holds out on Hawaiian Gardens roof for 5 hours

HAWAIIAN GARDENS - A half-naked man who held authorities at bay for about five hours on an apartment rooftop in Hawaiian Gardens was taken into custody today.The standoff began around 8:10 p.m. Monday near the 12000 block of Carson Street, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
