Fire heavily damages church in Corbin

CORBIN, Ky. (LEX 18) — An early morning fire heavily damaged a church in southern Kentucky, officials said.
Lily Fire & Rescue said its firefighters responded after 1:30 a.m. to a fire at church at Moore Hill Avenue and Kennedy Road.
West Knox Fire Rescue also aided the efforts along with Corbin City, Bailey Switch and Keavy fire departments.
No injuries were reported but the structure suffered severe damage.
