Police, fire blotter (Sept. 8)

The following calls were received by the Frankfort Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Frankfort Fire and EMS, and Franklin County Fire Department on Tuesday:
• At noon, deputies took a theft report at Frankfort Bottle Shop on KY 151. A caller reported that a male stole several bottles, and that there was video footage of the theft.
• At 4:49 p.m., city firefighters and EMS were called to a smoke smell on Schenkel Lane.
• At 5:40 p.m., officers took a fraud
