Local man charged following physical altercation

A domestic disturbance that reportedly turned violent led to the arrest of a Frankfort man Sunday night.
While Franklin County Sheriff’s Office deputies were en route to the Mt. Zion Road residence at 7:20 p.m., the suspect, Darren Moore, fled in a vehicle and was located a short time later.
According to his arrest citation, Moore and a female got into a physical altercation in the front yard. The victim told law enforcement that Moore struck her with an electric cord on the upper back. Sh
