L.I.F.E. House receives grant from Humane World for Animals

Humane World for Animals, formerly called the Humane Society of the United States, has awarded a $3,500 grant to The Betty J. Martin L.I.F.E. House for Animals, an animal adoption facility, to support its Love for a L.I.F.E.Time Help Fund, which provides support to pet owners for veterinary care, short-term boarding, and related expenses for pets.
Since its beginning in 2013, the Love for a L.I.F.E.Time Help Fund has served nearly 1,000 Kentucky pet owners at a cost of over $290,000. In 2026 alo
