Letter: ‘Stivers ignores the data’

Dear editor,
Sen. Robert Stivers’ opinion piece on Aug. 12 advocating for the construction of AI data centers in Kentucky once again demonstrates how out of touch Republicans are with the concerns of Kentuckians, and the American people writ large.
Despite his feeble attempts to allay the fears of the public vis-a-vis data centers’ impact on energy, water and noise pollution, the construction of data centers throughout the country remains an apposite concern to most people.
