Kentucky temporarily shutting down unemployment insurance system after 'sophisticated' cyber attack

Kentucky’s already challenged unemployment insurance system is temporarily shutting down after what Gov. Andy Beshear called a sophisticated attack as part of an organized fraud effort. The state’s UI system will shut down to the public for four days starting midnight Friday through Monday.
