John Arnett: High school football still matters

I read with great interest all the local high school football schedules recently posted. I love football, especially high school ball. Maybe only high school ball. That seems to be the last refuge of players who get out there and do it for love, not money.
Admittedly, playing college ball in exchange for a scholarship seems OK to me. A kid gets an education in return for helping the school administration sell tickets to games. Anyone might think that is a fair exchange, service for service. What
