Japan festival to be hosted downtown

Residents and visitors can now experience another nation in the heart of downtown.On Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. the Japan Festival arrives.
The festival is a showcase of Japanese culture with activities ranging from Martial Arts demos, origami, Japanese calligraphy, cosplay parades and informational booths.Musical performances with various Japanese influences are also planned.
